MADISON, Wis. — In a shocking turn of events, Jeffrey-Way Hard Rock Twigs exhibited by Doeberiener, Bowen, and P Conroy, has been stripped of her title as the Holstein Grand Champion of the 2024 World Dairy Expo. Taking the title two months after the conclusion of the show is Oakfield Solomon Footloose exhibited by Showbox Sires and Vierra Dairy. Previously the reserve champion, Footloose is no stranger to the spotlight. You can see the change on the World Dairy Expo Results page.
Taking the title of Reserve Grand Champion of the 2024 Holstein show at the World Dairy Expo is Erbacres Snapple Shakira, exhibited by Jacobs, Antelimarck, Ty-D Hol, K Theraulaz, and Attaboy Holsteins.
The Grand Champion title was not the only class to see a change. Jacobs Excalibur Bahamas has claimed first place in the Holstein four-year-old class as Twigs was removed from the results.
There has been no comment on why exactly Jeffrey-Way Hard Rock Twigs has had her titles stripped from her, but speculations have taken over the internet. When questioned, representatives of the World Dairy Expo stated “All dairy cattle exhibitors must adhere to the World Dairy Expo Showring Policy and Code of Ethics, as outlined in our Premium Book, beginning on page 19,” and has not elaborated further.
