MT. MORRIS, N.Y. — The 2018 Annual Summer Crop Tour brought to you by by the New York Corn and Soybean Growers Association is coming to Mt. Morris on July 26, 2018. The event will be hosted by Merrimac Farms, Inc. located at 3920 East Groveland Road in Mt. Morris.
The Association is pleased to have Dr. Fred E. Below, a Professor of Crop Physiology in the department of Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois as the keynote speaker. Dr. Below will present The Quest for High Yield Corn and Soybeans which will explore his research on the management and physiology of high yield corn and soybeans and sustainable production systems.
The agenda also includes a cover crop discussion panel, a legislative affairs update and afternoon breakout sessions by the CCE-NWNY Dairy, Livestock, and Field Crops Team, WNY Crop Management and the Advanced Ag Alliance.
Lunch will be provided by Northern Oaks BBQ of Geneseo.
Farmers, agribusiness professionals, educators and others are invited out for a day of education and camaraderie.
