ST. JOSEPH, Minn. — Registration is now open for the Sustainable Farming Association’s 2017 Annual Conference, set for Sat., Feb. 11 at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minn. This all-day event will offer a celebratory glance at the work being done by farmers to improve soil health, conserve water, and enhance sustainability across the Upper Midwest. Minnesota’s premier farmer networking arena and a yearly gathering of sustainable ag champions, the SFA Annual Conference is sure to engage and inspire.
As a farmer-led organization, SFA is determined to provide the most relevant, timely, and important information available at its annual conference. Using an online voting system, members and supporters have cast over 6,000 votes with their session topic preferences, and the SFA staff has built this year’s conference around those recommendations. With highest demand, 2017 member-driven sessions include “Year-Round Income Streams on 15 Acres or Fewer,” “Fencing Innovations,” and “Starting and Managing a Profitable Orchard.”
