LOUISVILLE, Ky. — ZETOR North America will spotlight the innovative FORTERRA model range with STAGE IV at the Feb. 15-18 National Farm Machinery Show, Booth 7401, in Louisville, Kentucky.
The FORTERRA HD is one of the highest-level models of the FORTERRA range. And is offered in power ranges from 127 to 147hp, robust body, suspended axle, multifunctional control panel and many attractive features.
FORTERRA HD is equipped with efficient in-house designed and produced engines with a 16-valve head meeting the emission standard TIER 4F. The engines are rated for strong acceleration and easy starting even in low temperature. Fuel savings are up to 15-20% depending on work performed.
FORTERRA HD transmission offers a high number of usable gears, which keeps the engine in optimum revolutions both while working or traveling, therefore lower fuel consumption. The transmission offers 13 gears under load, operation speed of 4-12 kph, total 30 gears forward/30 reverse. Control of the tractor is made easier by features like PowerClutch, PowerShift – three-stage torque multiplier; or PowerShuttle – hydraulic reverser.
Bosch electro-hydraulics brings high effectiveness while working with aggregations. Two auxiliary hydraulic cylinders ensure even load of with maximum lifting force of approx. 19,000 pounds. FORTERRA HD is equipped with the unique HitchTronic system which measures soil resistance while plowing and automatically regulates the rear 3-point. This results in fuel savings of 5-7 %.
In the area of ergonomics and comfort, there is a spacious modern cabin. High operation comfort is achieved by suspension of the front axle. FORTERRA HD is also equipped with multifunction panel, essential controls are logically placed.
